Being fit and having a perfect body is no more a choice, given that we all live in the world where busy work lives and lack of motivation have made us lazy and extremely lethargic. The effects of not living a fit and maintained life often reflect in the old age, which is why fitness regimes and workouts are so important for seniors. Of course! I have trained my own parents, who have high diabetes and have been dealing with the common joint pains that are natural to any aging person. Honestly, I believe in starting fitness regimes early in life, and if you have missed on that, I can still train and guide you to reach new goals.
Let's start by saying that fitness training and workouts for seniors are utterly different and should have a different approach. My trainers, along with me, take the medical history and issues of seniors and consider the different options, which is usually a mix between free hand exercises, light jogging, brisk walking and personal training with focus on yoga moves and other kinds of special exercises. All seniors at the gym are offered free counselling with my trainers, and I make sure to workout with them as an when possible to keep everyone motivated.
I will like to add here that fitness training for seniors is available for special timings, and we insist on joining our group for a month to know the difference in your body.
